In the Disney movie Moana, the titular character, Moana, does not die during the storm. The movie follows Moana, the daughter of a chief on a Polynesian island, who sets out on a journey to save her people by restoring the heart of Te Fiti, the goddess of creation, with the help of Maui, a demigod.
During her journey, Moana and her crew face many challenges and obstacles, including a severe storm that nearly sinks their boat. Moana, however, manages to navigate through the storm and reach their destination safely.
