How long to let brisket rest?

The amount of time that you should let a brisket rest can vary based on the size of the brisket. Generally, it is recommended to let the brisket rest for at least 20 minutes to an hour. The longer you let the brisket rest, the more succulent and juicy it will become. Additionally, the internal temperature of the brisket will continue to rise and the juices can penetrate more deeply into the meat during the resting period. Therefore, for best results, it is strongly recommended to let a brisket rest for a minimum of 1 hour before slicing and serving.
