The League for People with Disabilities

The League for People with Disabilities (LPD) is an award-winning organization that works to promote the rights and increase the inclusion of people with disabilities in every aspect of life. Founded in 1960, LPD works to ensure that individuals with disabilities have the same rights and opportunities as all other citizens.

LPD works within the community to advocate for the rights of people with disabilities and to create an environment that is inclusive and accepting of them. The organization works with the public and private sectors to promote the creation and enforcement of laws and regulations that protect the rights of people with disabilities. Through education, training and outreach, LPD works to increase the number of people with disabilities employed in the public and private sectors, as well as create a culture in which people with disabilities are an integral part of society.

LPD offers a wide range of services, including outreach and advocacy, legal representation, disability rights workshops and seminars, and information and tools to people with disabilities and their families. Additionally, the organization sponsors a variety of events and activities, including social events and conferences to support the needs of people with disabilities.

Most importantly, however, LPD works hard to provide support, tangible assistance, and a powerful network of resources to empower people with disabilities and enable them to lead full and satisfying lives. Through their dedicated and tireless advocacy, education, and outreach efforts, LPD helps to ensure that everyone has the same rights and opportunities regardless of disability.
